What does it detect?
Furthermore, the HE4 protein is located in the epithelial cells of the human distal epididymis and is directly connected to fertility. It was later found that HE4 is expressed in reduced amounts in the normal epithelium of specific tissues: the reproductive tract (including the ovary). The protein is detected in large amounts in the serum of patients with ovarian cancer. This type is a significant health problem for women, with high morbidity and mortality.

How long do the results take?
