Gel & Clot Activator Tube is coated with micronized Sillica particles that cause blood to clot quickly while the gel barrier will effectively divide it from the fibrin the cells as well as impede the exchange of substance between blood cells and serum.
Due to its activator of clotting, it is best to preserve the original characteristics of blood, and resolving hemolysis.
Hold micro blood collection tube at 30°-40° angle from surface of puncture site. Avoid scraping skin surface to collect blood sample. After collecting 2 or 3 drops, blood will freely flow down the reservior wall to bottom of the tube.
Fill tubes between the fill marks.
Mix the additive and blood by gentle inversion 7-10 times.
