What does it detect?
AFP is a glycoprotein produced by fetal tissues and tumours differentiated from embryonic structures. The determination of AFP is necessary for the early diagnosis of liver cancers as a screening method.

Then, drop off the Kit in the morning at the Royal Mail Red Street Box. Use the Track24/48 Return Label to the Lab.
Lastly, once your results are ready, we will email you the Result. You can also view the report in your Dashboard.
How long do results take?
The target turnaround time for the result is 1 working day from receiving it in the laboratory. However, the turnaround time is only a guide and sometimes depends on run schedules.
Please make a sample from Monday to Thursday to avoid delivery delays at the lab.
What is the Shipping & Return Policy?
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To Qualify for any return, the kit must be in the same condition as when you received it. It is not used, not opened, unworn, and in its original packaging. You will also need to send it to us with the receipt or proof of purchase.

Accuracy and Precision:
The relative standard deviation from the target value is ≤ 15%. The within-assay CV is less than or equal to 15 %. The between-assay CV is ≤ 15%.

Accuracy and Precision:
The accuracy of these Liver Cancer Tumour market tests is based on the relative deviation. The relative deviation is the average deviation from the actual result value.
The precision relies on the within-assay coefficient of variations and the between-assay coefficient. The within-assay coefficient of variations is the variance of the result value if the same sample was analysed again. The between assay coefficient is the variance of the result value if the same sample was reprocessed from the beginning again.
In range results:
The reference range for healthy non-pregnant females and males is less than 20 ng/mL.
Out-of-range results:
Any result greater than the reference range would be considered abnormal. Those with elevated levels of AFP may be at risk for small-cell lung cancer. Elevated levels of AFP may also indicate other cancers, including Hodgkin’s disease, lymphoma, and kidney cancer.
