What are the Instructions?
So, make sure the sample is done properly and follow the instructions. Otherwise, invalid results will occur. Therefore, keep to the sample management rules. Please follow our guidelines.
For this Full STD Profile Test for 8-in-1, choose either a Swab or Urine kit.
Also, the target turnaround time for STD results is 1 working day from receiving them in the laboratory. However, this time is a guide only and sometimes depends on assay run schedules.

Missed STI appointments or cancellations less than 24 hours prior are not entitled to refunds. Also, rescheduling is possible but not guaranteed. However, don’t hesitate to contact customer service to discuss cost and availability options before the appointment.
Shipping & Return:
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To Qualify for any return, the Full STD product must be in the same condition as when you received it. But if it is not used, not opened, unworn, and in its original packaging. And you will also need to send it to us with the receipt or proof of purchase.

What is the Scientific Data from the Instrument and Reagent Supplier?

Accuracy
The accuracy of a diagnostic test is the combination of two factors: sensitivity and specificity. Sensitivity is the ability to confirm positive results, while specificity eliminates negative results. Furthermore, all of our methods are validated to a high degree of accuracy – up to 98.5%.
Variables
Accuracy can be affected by various factors that our lab cannot control. Our PCR methods are extremely sensitive, a poor-quality swab makes it harder to detect the presence. However, please carefully consider the information in the sample collection kit to ensure a high-quality sample.
The full Profile
Multiple PCR detection methods are carried out to investigate the presence of up to 8 of the most common and ensure accuracy. The sample will not only return results for each of these samples separately, but if positive, it will further clarify which strain(s) are detected for HPV or Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV).

Positive result
If you receive a positive result, please get in touch with your GP.
Negative result
While this is a reassurance, it is important to understand its significance. This means the method did not detect the presence when testing for the variants. It may still develop after the sample is taken or has cleared by the time it was taken.
The HPV check includes those variants of risk, but it is unable to detect if you are positive for one of the other 200+ variants.
If you have HPV, it is not an indicator of the (HSIL) or underlying high-grade (CIN), nor does it imply that a CIN 2-3 will develop.
