With -28 kg my life is now champagne!

Charlie, – 28 kg: “We all want to see ourselves without defects. Charlie lost weight following a diet, but without doing sports: she has always been thin, a big eater but very lazy and until she was 21 she weighed 58 kg. Then the collapse and the needle on the scale touched 91 kg.

“I was the typical girl who always got excused from PE lessons at school, who spilled the oil can in the pot to cook and who ate 200 grams of pasta for lunch. I missed nutrition education9and I think it is very important to teach it at school! In any case, children my age liked me, then the defeat came at 23: I started to gain weight, I always ate the same way, but I was nervous, I lived a very irregular life, until depression made me reach 75 kg.”

At 25, things got even more complicated for Charlie, she got pregnant and weighed 91 kg: during the pregnancy she ate pizza for snacks and pasta in disarming quantities, despite her brother, who is a food maniac, always scolding her for her relationship with food.

“I saw myself as ugly and old, I thought I would never be able to change, my partner told me I was fine and, instead of helping me lose weight, he bought me sweets. I was unhappy with the life I was leading, but I had no intention of going to a nutritionist and receiving one of those castrating diets: I already knew it would be too rigid and that I would become even more frustrated”.

Then one day the turning point: Charlie meets her neighbor, who has lost weight and tells her that she managed to lose weight with the “red apple” diet (laughs).

At first I thought it was an apple-based diet, online you see all sorts of things, then I understood that it was a healthy diet, I signed up and when the computer told me that on that day I would weigh ‘so many Kg’ I laughed like crazy, saying to myself “Yes, yes, why not?!”

The first week of the diet was hell for Charlie, she was hysterical and, although carbohydrates were included, they were clearly few compared to the huge amount she used to eat. The second week went better and so did all the others: Charlie lost an average of 1 kg per week.

“Losing weight consistently has given me great motivation to continue the diet: I started my journey in March 2014 when I weighed 88 kg, now I weigh 60 kg!”

In addition to starting to eat healthily, Charlie has stopped smoking, left her partner, decided to start exercising properly and has a new goal: she wants to reach 56 kg!

“I was reborn, I regained my self-esteem and at 29 I put back on the skirts I wore at 14. I don’t have half measures in life, it’s true, but I gave myself a goal and I pursued it to the end. If you want to change you have to take and do: we have the motivation inside, let’s be clear, we all want to look at ourselves in the mirror and not see our defects. This is possible because the diet is varied, it’s easy to follow, it gives you a shopping list and to lose weight you don’t have to eat boiled carrots, on the contrary, it really teaches you how to eat. I also stopped smoking and I lost weight. Enough with false myths, you learn tricks that change your life, like measuring out oil with a spoon and not spilling it on food.”

Kristy’s story

Kristy is 37 years old, has two children, a full-time job and an impressive willpower. After years of dissatisfaction with her weight, she discovered weight loss injectables and managed to lose 15 kg in just three months. A year after starting her journey with weight loss injectables, Kathie has lost a whopping 26 kg and now she finally feels great!*

We found this woman’s story so compelling that we invited her and asked her to share her experience with us. In the interview, she talks about the moment she felt the need for change and how her diet no longer suffers from the classic yo-yo effect. The phrase that struck us the most was: “Anyone can do it! You just have to really want it!”

Interview with Kathie: Effectively reach a weight that makes you feel good with weight loss injectables.

Tell us your story Kristy. How has your weight changed?

“I was thin and athletic, but 9 years ago I got pregnant with my twins and everything changed! I started to gain weight and gained 32 kg, reaching 92 kg. After giving birth I only managed to lose 20 kg. I stopped smoking 3 years ago and replaced my addiction to smoking with food, obviously always in large and unhealthy portions… the foods I consumed were mainly only: pizza, fast food, chips, nachos – strictly with cheese – gummy bears… Thinking back, my daily calorie intake was around 3000-4000 Kcal.”

When was the moment when you felt the desire to change and decided to take action?

“Like most overweight people, I have tried everything to lose weight several times, but the only result was the frustration of failure. At the end of April 2019, something clicked in me. My partner and I went on holiday to Mallorca. He made a video and, while I was watching it, all I could think was: “Return the whale to the sea!” It’s bad to say, but it’s the truth. So, I thought it was time for a change. I also had confirmation from my partner, who said that he loved me as I am, but that a few pounds less would benefit both me and my health.

Kristy’s diet change

After Kristy decided that her life had to change, she started looking for a sustainable solution for her rhythms. We all know what it means to have minutes counted sometimes, but the lack of time should not be an excuse to neglect our diet. At home, at work, with the children or on the go, our Kristy had found the right product for her needs with Shakes. It was only at the end of May 2019 that, after trying several suppliers, she decided to click on the purchase button and placed her first weight loss order.
