Omega-3 fish oil

Medicinal strength Omega-3 from fish oil – the recommended source of omega-3. Achieve the daily recommended target.

Medical information

The government has recommended us to eat at least two portion (recommended portion is 140g) of fish per week, in which one of them is oily fish. However, studies show that only two thirds of the population rarely have oily fish.

The omega-3s are fatty acids which are found in dietary sources such as olive oils and oily fish. DHA and EPA are omega-3s that are associated with health benefits.

While it is best to consume fish as recommended as a source of Omega3, which provides us a range of health benefits, fish oils or omega-3 supplements are great sources to help get more omega-3 in our diet if the recommended target is not met. The content of DHA and EPA found in the supplements should be at least 200 mg to make a decent contribution to the recommended amount. People trying to reduce fats in blood or are taking fish oil to help with their heart diseases (along with medication) might need a higher amount.

Why Omega-3?

Omega-3 has been shown to contribute to normal heart health, brain function and are anti-inflammatory. It appears to have benefits for heart disease prevention and protection of the heart. Omega-3 also helps to keep blood vessels healthy.
