Calmurid cream product information

Calmurid cream is a moisturiser that contains urea and lactic acid that helps to keep your skin soft and supple. It comes with a few sizes. We supply convenient 100ml and 300ml pack sizes.

How to use

You should follow the directions on the label and package.

In general, apply Calmurid cream liberally to all areas of skin, in the direction of hair growth. For best results, apply it immediately after towel drying the skin. Leave it on for 3-5 minutes before gently rubbing it into your skin. You should use emollients everyday to prevent flare up of eczema.

Some people may be prescribed steroid creams to be used together with the emollient. You should apply Calmurid cream first and wait for 10-15 minutes before applying steroid.

Side effects of Calmurid cream

Side effects are unlikely but you should stop using the emollient if you experience any burning or stinging of the skin.

You may need to answer a series of Yes/No questionnaires before ordering to determine your suitability to the medicine.
As emollients can be greasy, you should be careful of slips, trips and falls.

Calmurid cream is for topical use only. Avoid getting it into your eyes, nose or mouth.

Patient information leaflet

The 'patient information leaflet' supplied with the cream should be read before use.
