Viagra product informatiom

Viagra contains an active ingredient called sildenafil citrate, which belongs to a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitor, It is the first drug of its class marketed for the use of erectile dysfunction (ED). It helps to relax the blood vessels and increases blood flow to your penis when you are sexually stimulated.
Viagra was under patent protection in the UK until June 2013, after which legal cheaper versions of generic sildenafil tablets are produced and made available. They are medically similar and you can purchase sildenafil tablets here.

How to take

The starting dose for Viagra is usually 50mg for ED, taken about one hour before you plan to have sex. You might find Viagra taking longer to work if you have had a heavy meal. You should not take it for more than once a day. Viagra only works if you are sexually aroused.

Side effects of Viagra

Like all medicines, Viagra can cause some side effects, although not everyone gets them.

The most common side effects associated are headache, nausea, facial flushing, and hot flush. Side effects are usually mild but if you are concerned about any side effects of the medicine, you should speak to your doctor of pharmacist for more advice. If you experience dizziness while using Viagra, you should avoid driving or using machinery.

Some uncommon but more serious side effects include allergic reactions with symptoms such as difficulty breathing, swollen eyes, lips or mouth and rash. It may also cause chest pain during or after sexual intercourse. If you experience chest pains, you should get into a semi-sitting position and try to relax, and should not use nitrates to help treat chest pains.
